With only a week to go, we hope your plans for the 15th Anniversary Reach the Beach Relay are complete! If you are still pulling it together, check out Runner’s Alley! They are New Hampshire’s only running store and have everything you need to finish off your RTB Relay needs!
- Need Lodging? Click here. The Franconia Inn had a large block of rooms free up. If you would like to stay at this historic inn near the start, call them to grab your rooms before they are gone.
- Pre-Race Dinner: Friday September 6th is the last day to purchase tickets!
- On-line changes: Friday September 6th is the last day to make on-line changes to your roster. Any additional changes need to be made at Registration on the 12th or 13th.
- GoMotion Light sets: Friday September 6th is the last day to purchase these lighting systems and have them arrive before you leave for the race.
- Bus Tickets: Monday September 9th is the last day to purchase your bus tickets from Hampton Beach to Cannon on Friday morning the 13th at 6AM sharp.
- Video Contest: 2013 NH Video contest is back. Details on the RTB Blog: (put link here to attached details that are posted to the blog)
- One of our 2013 race upgrades will be a ‘Best Decorated Van’ contest. Sports Authority will be partnering with us and will be on-site on Friday, September 13th from 7 to 12 to judge your van and give away special Sports Authority goody bags. The top prize for the best decorated van is a $500 Sports Authority shopping spree! The criteria will be:
Presentation, Team Spirit, Creativity, Good Taste
- Scavenger Hunt: RTB has worked with LevelUp (formerly SCVNGR) to create our first Scavenger hunt! We will have a series of challenges for your team with lots of prizes for those who participate and also some grand prizes for the top point getters. Complete details will be available at registration.

VIDEO Contest DETAILS
The RTB Academy had released the details for the RTB NH 2013 Video Contest. The theme this year – RTB Spirit! The race is long but our challenge to you is to use your creative talents to showcase RTB in 3 minutes or less.
- Capture the essence of Reach the Beach in 3 minutes or less.
- Judging will be based on creativity/inspiration (70%) and FB likes/video views (30%)
- Post your video on the RTB FB page and send a link to Karen@rtbrelay with VIDEO CONTEST as the subject line by 9/30.
Prizes:
- First prize is a free full team entry in RTB MA 2014 (a $1440 value).
- Second prize is a free half team entry in RTB MA in 2014 (an $840 value; can be used as a 50% discount on a full team entry).
- Third prize is $25 RTB store gift certificates for the team (a $300 value).
