Hi All,
We hope your summer is going great and that your team is training hard for the 2010 edition of the New Balance Reach the Beach Relay! We have quite a bit of news to bring you up to speed on so let's get to it. Beer Tent!
The first one is big and something you have been asking us for since 1999! We have partnered with the Hampton Rotary Club and the Redhook Brewing Company to host a Beer Tent at the finish in Hampton! All proceeds from the beer tent will be donated to one of the Rotary Club charities. More details will be included in the handbook.Handbook and Course Map updates
We are in the process of updating the handbook and course maps as there are some changes since last year. The updated versions for 2010 will be posted by August 1st. Please plan to download the latest version and review them with your team.
Sponsor Update
Oracle and the American Heart Association:
We are proud to announce an agreement with Oracle and the American Heart Association, Oracles official company charity. A team from Oracle will be running the event to raise money and awareness for the American Heart Association. If you would like to support their team and make a donation, you can use the following link: Pre-Race Performance Seminar
We want to remind you about our new pre-race Performance Running Seminar. The seminar will feature 4 exciting speakers — each with a different perspective on how to improve your performance, energy, and wellness. The seminar will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Cannon Mountain's Peabody Lodge from 1-5 pm. The cost will be $45 pp (before Sept 1, $55 after) and will include instruction by our four expert speakers along with entry into our "seminar only raffle" that will feature some cool prizes. We're hoping this will be a huge plus to your race weekend! Tickets are available now through the RTB web store.
